(This is what happens when I'm unhappy with the ending of a game I'm watching. Inspiration for this is from 'The Forest', so this is likely to end up being darker than what I normally write, but I couldn't get this out of my head - so here's the beginning of the story.)

I'm working on a new Guide for the Many Worlds, because the old one is pretty outdated now, especially with the new worlds that have been created. Doing that means I've found I've lost some of my world building, with the main loss being my magic list for the Thirteen Families. It's an annoyance, and I'm pretty sure there is a copy somewhere, but it's something to look for another day. I just wanted to note it here, so I don't forget. I know what I'm like sometimes.

Giving myself the freedom to do what I feel is right for the stories I'm working on is helping in ways I never thought it would. I'm really happy with what I've been working on, because I'm letting stories finish where they want to, knowing that the next part will be in the hands of another character. Of course it's possible that the story will also be in the hands of the same character too, but the point I stop at feels like the best point to split the story at, and as it's going in two directions it's better than I let that happen. I'm not entirely certain how that's going to work when it comes to navigation, but, in the end, I'll get to making it work out the way I want it to.

For now I'm just happy to be writing again. I'm happy to have things ready to post, and things I want to write, and the knowledge that I'm not pushing myself to fit into the wrong hole.
